2010 Mural Historical Highways Project
As well as being a local project, we are striving to become a significant contributor to the B.C. Wide 2010 Mural Historical Highways Project; a project that communities situated along the province’s major highways will join. With travelers from all over the world anticipated to attend the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, our town mural project will be well established and provide tourists the opportunity to come into our community, boost our economy and see the pride with which we celebrate our pioneer history.
Our Society is encouraging new members to join our team and be a part of this exciting historical event. There are numerous ways in which you can help support this community event and assist us in preserving our heritage. Together we can make this happen!
